A Few Words About Joseph “JT” Troia:

Joseph Troia, Assoc. AIA, is an Associate Project Manager at IS Architecture, bringing a wealth of diverse experience from his early years in Buffalo, NY to his current work in San Diego. A graduate of Alfred State College with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Technology.

Joseph’s approach centers on listening closely to clients and making their goals the guiding force throughout each project. His background spans healthcare, adaptive re-use and historic preservation, multifamily, and commercial projects, giving him a well-rounded perspective and adaptability in each phase of the design process.

Since joining IS Architecture, Joseph has enjoyed taking on a range of distinctive projects—from thoughtfully transforming a classic mid-century ranch into a welcoming space for a growing family, to helping a client achieve a dream home inspired by the romance of Gothic castles. He welcomes every new challenge, infusing each project with curiosity, optimism, and an eye for innovative solutions.

Joseph is passionate about crafting light-filled, vibrant spaces that inspire and uplift. Outside the office, he enjoys surfing, restoring vintage furniture, and spending quality time with loved ones.
