A Few Words About Kelsey Kaline, MPL/MHC:

Kelsey Kaline is a Historic Preservation Specialist and Architectural Historian at IS Architecture. She holds a Masters of Heritage Conservation and Masters of Urban Planning from the University of Southern California. She has studied and has interest in intangible heritage, cultural landscapes, and utilizing historic preservation as a tool for urban resilience.

Kelsey’s experience includes local and state designations of individual buildings, cultural landscape
research and documentation, along with survey work. In California, she has co-authored City of Los
Angeles Historic District and Resource nominations, along with State Nominations. She is a published
architectural and landscape photographer. Kelsey also has experience working with Regional Planning
Agencies and city sustainability measures.

Kelsey’s qualifications meet the requirements established by the National Park Service, as published in
the Code of Federal Regulations, 36 CFR Part 61 (Secretary of the Interior Standards).
