City of San Diego Historic Site No. 1107, The Carl O. & Delia H. Reinbold Residence

Historical research and site analysis have determined that this home is eligible for historic designation by the City of San Diego under HRB Criteria A – Cultural Landscape, Criteria B – Historic Person or Event, and Criteria C – Architecture. The 1911 residence is an excellent example of the Craftsman style and maintains high levels of integrity in terms of location, design, setting, materials, workmanship and feeling.  Historical register listing of the property is supported based on its architectural merit, its association with the Reinbold family, as well as its role in the aesthetic, architectural, social and cultural development of the Valle Vista Terrace sub-division.
