City of San Diego Historic Site No. 1016, The Louis H. and Charlotte L. Quayle House

Historical research and site analysis have determined that this residence is eligible for historic designation by the
City of San Diego under HRB Criteria A – Cultural Landscape and C – Architecture. The 1926 residence is an excellent
example of the Spanish Colonial Revival style and maintains high levels of integrity in terms of location, design, setting,
materials, workmanship and feeling. Integrity supports historical register listing of the property based on its architectural
merit as well as its role in the aesthetic, architectural, social and cultural development of Panorama Drive.
