Carpenters Hall is located in Vista, California. The building is significant under California Register of Historical Resources Criterion 1, for its function as the meeting place of Carpenters and Joiners Local 2078, a prominent union active in the labor movement of San Diego County. It is also significant under California Register of Historical Resources Criterion 3 as a good example of a minimalist approach toward the Art Deco architectural style. The period of significance is 1948-1987. The property retains a high degree of integrity in all seven aspects.
