A Few Words About Rebecca McManus:

Rebecca McManus is a Secretary of the Interior qualified Architectural Historian and Historic Preservation Specialist for IS Architecture. She received her Masters of Historic Preservation degree from the University of Georgia, where she specialized in rehabilitation/restoration preservation and cultural landscapes. Her experience includes projects ranging from National Register of Historic Places nominations for a large-scale cultural landscape to numerous Historic Structure Reports and determinations of eligibility. For IS Architecture, she has authored and co-authored City of San Diego Register of Historic Resources designations, Historic Resource Technical Reports, CEQA Alternatives Analyses, and HABS reports. Ms. McManus is intimately familiar with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties, CEQA, National Park Service Preservation Briefs, Section 106 of the NHPA, Section 4(f), and national and local historic resources registers. Her passion for fieldwork and architectural history is reflected in all her work.
